Beste Peter, onze reis is geheel volgens plan verlopen, de vliegreizen waren heel goed en onze driver-gids Suki, was, evenals Hery de vorge keer, boven elke lof verheven. Bovendien sprak hij engels zodat de conversatie met mijn twee nichtjes vlot verliep. Voor alles mijn dank en complimenten.Ik heb nog een vraag (verzoek). In de galerij van het HB guesthouse in Bogor hangt een schilderij (?), bestaande uit drie panelen die tezamen een paar enorm grote bloemen (volgens mij rode Kembang Sepatoe) voorstellen. Gerben, mijn zoon, had het vorig jaar ook al gezien, en zou graag precies diezelfde afbeelding op die grootte in zijn huis in Friesland willen hebben.
In het hotel Saraswati hing dit schilderij ook. De baas van Saraswati vertelde desgevraagd dat hij het via of bij Hyatt Sanur in Bali had verkregen. Het lukte ons niet om bij Hyatt Sanur iets te weten te komen.
Zou jij zonder al te veel moeite achter de naam van de schilder kunnen komen, en wie die dingen verkoopt ?
