Central Java Temple Tour
Day 1Arriving at Yogyakarta airport, we will meet you and introduce Yogyakarta by visiting the highest Hindus temple in Indonesia; Prambanan temple. Exploring the beauty of it and following the Ramayana story carved on the wall is an experience. After that go further for around one km, to explore Candi Sewu (Thousand Temple). Driving to Yogyakarta, on the way visit Kalasan and Sambisari temple. The last temple is nice since it lays at lower ground. In the evening enjoying Ramayana Dance performance after your dinner.
Day 2
After breakfast at hotel, at around 07.00, depart to Dieng Plateau to visit the oldest temple complex in Indonesia. There are interesting small temples in this area, beside of course you can see the Dieng Crater. After exploring Dieng temple complex, proceed to Borobudur temple. This was hugely built with around 60.000 cubic meters of stones in around 8th century and it is supposed to be the greatest Buddhist relics of South East Asia. The other two related temple; Pawon and Mendut will be the points to visit as well. Then the tour continuous to Bandungan.
Day 3
Morning, go uphill and make a small trekking to visit Gedong Songo (Nine Temple Complex). The temples lay on separated hill which give you a chance to make trekking with fresh air or you can do also by horse.Then driving back to Yogyakarta. Free program.
Day 4
Free for your own leisure time until we pick up and bring you to airport or train station in Yogyakarta for your next destination
