Learning Yogyakarta Indonesia
Yogyakarta is one of the special provinces in Indonesia. This town becomes the higlight for tour in Indonesia. Know about culture of Indonesia is advantage.
Day 1
Arrival at Yogyakarta airport or train station. We will pick you up and introduce Yogyakarta to you. We will show you a little bit around in Yogyakarta for your first glance of the town.
Day 2
In the morning, you depart for Borobudur. This huge sanctuary is built with some 60.000 cubic meters of stones around the 8th century and it is supposed to be the greatest Buddhist relic of South East Asia. Back to visit the Sultan's Palace of Yogyakarta (the Kraton). After dinner you will see Yogyakarta by night and make a stop at the South alun-alun (square), where you can try an ancient “mystique” game by walking in between two waringin trees.
Day 3
Yogyakarta is also well known as batik town. To know more, you will learn the whole day how to draw batik. Your teacher will introduce you the instruments, how to draw until the finishing process of batik. The proof is that you can make your own batik.
Day 4
Learning Indonesian Food: early morning at around 07.00, the driver will bring you to your cooking teacher’s place, where first you will have a discussion of what kinds of food you want to make. After that together to the local market to buy all ingredients needed. Then you will learn how to cook Indonesian food, how to clean rice, how to slice chillies, etc., until the food is ready for your lunch. For more fun you can also invite your friend, your guide or your driver, to enjoy your food together.
The tour then continues to enjoy the highest Hindu temple of Indonesia, the Prambanan temple. In the evening enjoying Ramayana dance performance.
Day 5
Free program for your own program until your departure time when we pick you up and bring you to the airport or the train station of Yogyakarta for your next destination. In the free time, you may have a walk at Malioboro street.
