Yogyakarta Temple Tour
Upon arrival at airport Yogyakarta in the morning, our guide and driver meet you and then bring you to Borobudur temple, the biggest Buddhist temple in Indonesia.
Follow the life of Sidarta carved on the walls of the temple. This temple was supposed to be built with 60.000 cubic meters of stones in the 8th century. After that you can also visit the other two nearby temples, the Pawon and Mendut temples. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
After lunch we continue our trip to the Prambanan Temple. The main temple (Shiva temple) is the highest Hindu temple in Indonesia. This temple has four rooms and each room has its own statue. Enjoy the famous Ramayana epos, beautifully carved on the walls of this temple complex.
