FLY TICKETS BOOK YOURSELF
“We are happy to help you find the best and cheapest flight connection for your trip.”

At Antar Anda Tour and Travel you book your flight to the destination yourself. Booking flights yourself is nowadays easier and moreover usually a lot cheaper. You can book your flight tickets directly on the airline’s website, such as Garuda Indonesia Airways, or via one of the many airline tickets. Your local travel expert then ensures a good connection of your travel plan to the flight booked by you. Search the ideal flights for your trip below.

Which flight best suits my trip?
Below we will first give you some general tips and then some tips per destination, which you can take into account when booking your flight. The local travel expert ensures that the program is tailored to your flight. Of course you can always contact your local travel expert with any questions about the flight.

Tip 1: In busy periods such as during the Christmas and summer holidays, flights are usually a lot more expensive than in low season. If you want to go on holiday during a busy time, it is important to book as early as possible.

Tip 2: You can easily reduce the CO2 emissions of your flight by choosing as much as possible for a non-stop flight and the shortest route, which also saves you a lot of time. A non-stop flight produces much less environmental impact than the same flight with stopovers. A direct flight is a flight with a possible stopover but without transfer. A non-stop flight is a direct flight without a stopover or transfer. View the infographics here.

Tip 3: Choose a climate-friendly airline. If you buy a washing machine or car it is very easy to choose the most CO2 efficient option. This is much more difficult when choosing an airline. There are major differences in the efficiency of airlines. Did you know that TUIfly and KLM are among the top when it comes to climate-friendly flying?

Tip 4: When selecting flights, pay attention not only to the price, but also to the transfer times and places.

Tip 5: If you travel through another country, make sure you need extra documents for the country where you make a stopover, such as a (double entry) visa. This is certainly the case if you are traveling through the United States. In this case, you must apply for an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) prior to departure, permission to visit the country without a visa. For 38 countries this so-called “visa waiver” applies, for other nationalities a visa is required. Conditions are also attached to this ESTA, for example, you may not have been in Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Syria, Libya, Somalia or Yemen after 1 March 2011. A visa is also required in this case. We advise you to submit your application for the ESTA at least 2 weeks before departure (at least 2 months if you are not eligible for an ESTA and need to apply for a visa). For the application you pay $ 14, -, to be paid by credit card.

Tip 6: Tickets for routes where you fly back to one place and from another place, can easily be bought by clicking on “Multiple destinations” on the famous ticket sites instead of “Return”.

Tip 7: For many of our destinations there are more options from Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam Airport, than from Brussels. If you live in Belgium and want to fly from Schiphol, you can take a direct train to Schiphol from Antwerp or Brussels. The train stops under the airport.

Tip 8: Book your taxi to Schiphol in advance at Taxi Electric. This is the first electric taxi service in Europe. Taxi Electric is a Social Enterprise. This means that they undertake for a better world. Book your taxi via this site.

The benefits of a direct flight
It sounds so attractive: saving money by booking a flight with one or more stops. But money is not always the most important thing. Booking a direct flight with a newer aircraft may cost you a bit more, but you will ensure a substantial reduction in the CO2 emissions of your trip. There are even more reasons to book a direct flight and we will list this for you in a row.

Compensation of CO2 emissions
We think it is important to be able to offer beautiful trips in the future. We therefore choose to compensate for the CO2 that we cause with our travels. We not only compensate for the land arrangement you book with us but also the emissions of the flight needed to reach your destination. You do not pay anything extra for this, we take care of the compensation of CO2 emissions.
